Nephelococcygia--Did It Cause Fidel Castro's Death?

In bars and internet cafes the hot word of the day is "nephelococcygia." Rumor has it that Fidel Castro is dead as a result of excessive engagement in the practice. NNN researcher Karl F. Gauss explains:

Aristophanes coined the word. He used it in his Broadway hit, The Birds (not to be confused with Bye, Bye, Birdie or Sweet Bird of Youth) to describe a hypothetical perfect city in the clouds. It's often translated as "cloud cuckoo land." German philosopher Schopenhauer loved the word. He liked to describe the work of other philosophers as relating only to cloud cuckoo land. The word is often used to denote looking for shapes in clouds. Castro's death has been attributed to oxygen starvation caused by failure to breathe while staring at clouds. He loves to look for images of Che Guevara and Charo.

Castro's death turns out to be an unfounded rumor. The Cuban leader is still, by most accepted definitions of the word, alive. NNN sources in the mystery shrouded island where pork is pulled and the newest cars are 1958 models revealed that the longtime dictator is playing dominoes and slapping the board in his hospital room. He apparently keeps a diary of his cloud observations. This week he recorded sightings of Che and Charo in several different compromising positions.
